Description of objectAntichi Granai is a warm and charming loft located in the old center of Civitavecchia (which dates back to Middle Age) and is at walking distance from the cruise ships harbour. The building dates back to 1600 AD and was once a wheat store.Quiet and comfortable, the loft is located on the ground floor with private entrance and wheelchair access. It is composed of a large living room and kitchen corner, bathroom with shower box, a mezzanine bedroom with 2 kingsize beds. Up to 2 extra people can comfortably sleep in the sofa bed in the living room. Antichi Granai is equipped with every comfort: heating, PC with DVD player, free WI-FI connection, fridge, oven, Kitchen Plates, Cutlery, Glasses, Coffee Maker, Cooking Utensils. The apartment is completely furnished and equipped with bed linen and towels. We will give you all important informations and help so to make your stay comfortable and pleasant. Da sempre importante porto e antica sede della flotta papale, Civitavecchia è città di transito e snodo commerciale, affacciata sul mare a due passi da Roma. Si può rivivere la Storia antica ammirando le Terme Taurine e il Forte Michelangelo, o ci si può immergere nelle atmosfere magiche delle strade in cui s'incontravano i grandi personaggi che hanno vissuto nella città: Raffaello, Antonio da Sangallo, Stendhal, Garibaldi, Marconi, etc. Civitavecchia offre decine di negozi e locali per la vita notturna. Si possono degustare le specialità tipiche, dalla zuppa di pesce agli spaghetti polpo e pecorino, dal baccalà spinozzato ai polipetti affogati, accompagnati dai caratteristici vini bianchi e dai dolci locali. Finendo ovviamente, con l'immancabile Sambuca, dall'arabo 'Zammut'. Così veniva chiamata la bevanda a base di anice 'approdata' in tempi remoti nel porto di Civitavecchia su navi provenienti dall'Oriente e da qui divenuta famosa in tutto il mondo.
