Description of objectF14 Mountain Dream in Bansko, Bulgaria is a perfect holiday apartment for either a family or a group of up to 6 single people out to enjoy the delights of a mountain holiday.In winter the home ski run is just 100m away for the short slide to the gondola and thence by modern uplift to over 65 km of pistes, the longest of which is some 16 km down from the 2600m top station. In summer the area is a mountain lovers paradise with the local Pirin mountains being recognized as an UNESCO World Heritage Site. Both in winter and summer holiday makers can enjoy the 100+ eating places and varied nightlife in the quaint old town of Bansko. The summer has lots of festivals with the August Jazz Festival being the most famous. And remember Bansko is probably only half as expensive as other similar mountain resorts in western Europe. F14 Mountain Dream is part of a 4* complex which includes a 4* hotel and matching facilities – a swimming pool, spa centre, restaurants, shops and a 24 hour concierge. It is a brand new 2-bedroomed well appointed apartment. There are two single beds which push together to make a large double in each bedroom and a double sofa bed in the living room. There is also an easy to erect camp bed and a cot. All linen, towels and final cleaning is included. The kitchen has a fan oven with grill, 4 hotplates, a microwave, integral fridge with freezer compartment and a dishwasher. Two balconies enjoy views of the mountains and the valley respectively. Location of objectMountain Dream is situated one kilometer above the gondola station off the mountain road near the gondola home run. It is almost a ski in/ski out apartment. Although taxi fares are reasonable we expect there to be an hotel mini bus service.Town: Bulgaria, Bansko, BanskoThe ‘all season’ resort of Bansko, is situated in the south west of Bulgaria at the foot of the Pirin mountains 936m above sea level and has a population of around 10,000.The old town, dominated by the church’s beautiful bell tower is situated near the centre and is most picturesque with narrow cobbled streets and quaint old buildings. It is worth exploring as are the approximately 100 mehanas, the local restaurants, which are nearly always atmospheric and attractive. There is plenty of nightlife especially during the ski season including a number of night clubs. The Pirin National Park area where the 65km of ski slopes are situated, has been designated a UNESCO World Heritage Site and encompasses some 60 alpine peaks which rise above 2,500m. The ski slopes are accessed via a modern gondola situated at the south of the town and part of a state of the art lift system. It is possible to ski right back to the gondola station.
