Description of objectBrand new luxurious 2 bedroom, 1 bathroom ground floor apartment on La Torre Golf Resort. All the grounds and pools around are complete. This luxury 5* complex is the second of the Polaris World Resorts and it is situated in Torre Pacheco, next to the Murcia-San Javier dual carriageway. La Torre consists of villas, townhouses and apartments. The 18 hole golf course has been designed by Jack Nicklaus and in the centre will be a fishing village built around a large lake. The complex has a security controlled entrance and 24 hour per day patrol. The resort features a superb clubhouse, bars, a luxurious restaurant, superb pools, supermarket, playgrounds and tennis courts. The resort is just 10 minutes away from the Mar Menor Golf Resort and people staying at La Torre may use all the facilities at Mar Menor including the 9 hole golf course.Location of objectAccessibilityThe apartment is wheelchair accessible, we have had an electric scooter in the apartment with no problems, the only unaccessible area is the threshold of the patio door. The scooter is in the apartment and is available to rent. Outside We have a terrace with furniture and sun loungers and also a garden for our sole use. There is a barbecue on the terrace. We also have the biggest swimming pool on the resort directly in front of our terrace for you to cool down in. Coast/Beach The glorious beaches on the Mar Menor, Costa Calida are a very short 15 minute drive away and are accessible for disabled people. Golf La Torre is an 18-hole par 68 golf course designed by Nicklaus Design. Now fully open. Provisional distances (metres): (black) 5,350; (blue) 4,934; (white) 4,422; (red) 3,822. It features over five hectares of sophisticated bunkers that separate the holes, creating strategic points which provided added value to the shots. Plus, a denser grass was planted around the bunkers, creating the optimum wind shot effect. It has 6 par 3's with the 11th and and 17th, a carry over water of 170 yards plus 2 par 5's, both of which are approx 500 yds. Accuracy is required for the par 4's so keep that driver in your bag! The greens are in excellent condition, undulating and quite fast! As with all the Polaris World golf courses, they are designed to be enjoyed by both beginners and more challenging for experienced players.
