Description of object

In the suburbs of Chiavenna, near S.Cristoforo, an old church of XI century, this traditional stone house has been completelly renovated in 2007. The main bed room with 4 beds is on the ground floor. In the second floor there is the bathroom, the kitchen and the living room with a beatiful marble fireplace and a sofabed. In the third level the mansard bed room with double bed. The chalet is sorrounded by lawns and by chestnut forest. From balconies beatiful view on the valley.

In winter is an ideal place for skiing with both Madesimo and Engadin area at disposal. In summer rock climbing, free climbing, canyoning, treking, mountaineering, walking, cycling, mountain biking, parachutes, horse riding, tennis, swimming, sailing and windsurfing(on Como and Engadin lake)

Chiavenna is located at 500 mts above see level, near the famous ski areas of Madesimo (15 km -www.skiareavalchiavenna.it)and of St.Morits(35 km -www.engadin.stmoritz.ch/en). Just above the spectacular granite spires and rock faces of Pizzo Cengalo and Badile with a huge amount of climbing and treking possibilities. In front of the chalet opens Bodengo valley, famous for its drafting and canyoning. Chiavenna is also an hystorical place with churches and palaces worthwhile to be visited
