There are endless possibilities of enjoying nature and outdoor activities all around Bäckmora.
The woods and forests offer berry and mushroom picking, hiking paths, rustic chalets, fishing and angling opportunities and a rich fauna and flora. The coast is dented with many islands and deep creeks. Along the seaside there are nice flat rocks for fishing. Objects and environments with an interest from a cultural and historical viewpoint can be studied in churches, archaeological sites, local museums and at the Museum of Hälsingland at Hudiksvall.
