We rent a small house in quiet place surrounded with forrest and close to numerous hiking and biking tours. In winter you can also go to the nearest ski resort Krvavec-a few km away.

House is located in town Kranj, 15min drive (25km with highway) from Ljubljana city.

Kranj is a picturesque historic town above the confluence of two alpine rivers – the Sava and the Kokra. Due to its geographical position – on the junction of important routes, leading from the Northern Europe to the Adriatic Sea and from the Western Europe towards the Eastern Europe – Kranj is also a strong commercial centre. Kranj, being the fourth biggest city in Slovenia, is industrial, employment, traffic, educational, cultural and sports centre of Gorenjska.
In 1983 the old town core of Kranj was declared a historical and cultural monument. The most important cultural-historical sights are located exactly in the old town core of Kranj. In the immediate vicinity of the old town core is the Kokra Canyon, which was declared a natural sight. It is protected by the Decree on the declaration of the old town core of Kranj as a historical and cultural monument (Official Gazette Gorenjska, no. 19/83).

You can come to this monument from the top of Jelenov klanec, where in the past the main routes crossed from Ljubljana and Škofja Loka towards Jezersko and Ljubelj that led to the Koroška region, through the valley Gornjesavska dolina, and to Villach and Friuli.
