Description of objectChalet le Chapeau Bleu is situated just outside St Beat, a traditional French village known as the 'Key to France'.We are only 7km from the Spanish border giving our guests the opportunity to savour two countries during the one stay. There is a large garden with three drives for guest cars and a garage available for bikes and cycles if guests prefer. The lounge has comfortable seating, a log burining fire and English Television with a DVD and Video player and a selection of DVDs for guest use. The dining area has coffee, tea and hot drinks available at all times and a CD player/radio for guest use. We have a range of bedrooms available. Double and triple rooms with private shower rooms, wash basin and toilet. Double and twin rooms that share lovely shower rooms with one other bedroom. Our prices are depending on the number of guests sharing a room and the type of room and include breakfast for all guests. Breakfast comprises of fresh orange juice, fruit, yoghurt, bread, croissant, cereal, cheese and ham. We offer a 4 course evening meal with wine if guest wish to take this option for one or more nights at 20 euros per person (children under 11 years of age only 10 euros). We are situated in a quiet area with lovely views of the mountains and countryside. Access to a number of the Tour de France climbs is easy including the Col de Mente, Col de Portillon, Col du Bales and Col de Peyresourde. The Garonne river is only a 5 minute walk from us and is a popular spot for anglers. Location of objectChalet le Chapeau Bleu is situated 1km from the centre of the village in a quiet quarter known as Meliande.The views are lovely and the peace and quiet attracts birds and deers who often run past the chalet early in the morning and at dusk. The summers are hot, the autumn is sunny and warm most weeks, spring is vibrant and often has thunder storms as the colours of the mountains come alive again and winter although cold is often sunny too. Town: France, Haute Garonne, Midi Pyrenees, St BeatSt Beat has not changed in years and is a lovely traditional French village with small shops, a bank, doctors, hairdressers, post office and bar etc.Famous for its marble we have a Mable festival each year and in August and ont he 4 July the best fireworks display in the region. Easy access to ski resorts, rivers, lakes, cycling routes from the village and there are a number of grottes to visit as well as historical roman sites.
