Location of objectThe apartment is situated in a wing of an 18th century Bastide sharing a small square with the Chapel St Roch.
The Bastide has a large landscaped garden with many mature trees. It has NO SWIMMING POOL at present. The owner are currently restoring the Bastide and the apartment has just been refurbished.

Solliès-Pont is one of three Solliès: Solliès-Ville, Solliès-Toucas and Solliès-Pont.
It is set on the River Gapeau. The village took the name of Solliès Pont during the French Revolution.
It has a XVIth century Chateau, a church, many chapels and fontaines.
The Forbins family built its Chateau in the XVIth century. The chateau received many important visitors: Charles IX, Catherine de Medicis, Louis XIV and many more.The Chateau was restored in 1862 and has 4 large round towers, its walls are covered in bricks and its roof is slated. The Chateau is now owned by the town.
In the past the area was known for its sweet cherries but since the war it is the capital of the Fig known as 'violet of Sollies' which is exported all over the world.
