Description of objectFully renovated in 2006, Lefka studios apartments offer charming self catering accommodation in Chania. They are extremely well situated for easy access to the beautiful city of Chania and to its famous old Venetian harbor, to the lovely beaches to the west and to the south and to all the attractions of the west part of Crete.Lefka is a small family-run hotel located only 2 ½ Km west of Chania city centre, with a bus stop right outside and a 15-minutes bus service, and 5 minutes walk from a sandy beach. Accommodation consists of 8 studios and 8 one bedroom apartments, with large swimming pool, beautiful garden and private parking. There are 4 studios and 4 apartments facing the front of the building and overlooking the pool. The other 8 units are at the rear of the building having a quieter location. Studios comprise one single room with kitchenette area and have 2 beds and a sofa. Apartments have a separate bedroom with 2 beds and a dining/sitting room with sofa and pull-out bed. Studios can accommodate up to 3 people (2 beds and a sofa for the 3rd person). Apartments (bedroom and living room) can accommodate up to a family of 2 adults (bedroom) and 2 children (living room) – 1 child on a pull-out bed, the other on the sofa. The studios and apartments are spacious and comfortable. All have air conditioning, private bathroom with shower and WC, large balcony overlooking the pool or the garden, TV, telephone, wireless Internet access, safe deposit box, alarm clock, hair dryer, and equipped kitchenette with refrigerator, microwave oven, 2-ring cooker hob, toaster, coffee machine and utensils. Daily maid services are provided along with change of linen and towels every 2 days. The apartments are located within a beautiful, walled garden with a large swimming pool for adults and children, friendly pool bar and private parking space. The pool area also features a snack bar which serves food and drinks from 11:00 next to the pool. Lefka studios-apartments are close to all amenities. There is a bus service to Chania and back every 15 minutes. Also, right across the street, in 50 m, you can find a big supermarket. A sandy beach is only a matter of a 5 minute stroll while you can find other beaches nearby and within walking distance. Location of objectLefka studios-apartments are located in the area Yermaniko Pouli, just 2 1/2 Km west to the center of Chania and about 200m from the sandy beach.Yermaniko Pouli is very near to many lively resorts and the bustling historical city of Chania, where you will find a big shopping centre, a lively Venetian harbour lined with tavernas and cafes, a large indoor market and many designer shops. Town: Greece, Chania, Crete, ChaniaChania is a beautiful and picturesque city with reminders of the past at every corner. Chania is the main town in the west of Crete, with the second largest population after Heraklion.Chania, is only 2½ Km from Lefka studios-apartments and it can be easily reached either by public transportation, the bus stop is located just outside Lefka, or by taxi. Or you may even consider walking; in half an hour you will be wondering around the amazing old Venetian harbor. Chania is divided into two parts – the New Town which is where the day to day business of the Chania goes on, with its shops and offices, the post office and banks, the renowned indoor market and the bus station - and the Old Town, built around the Venetian harbour with numerous picturesque narrow streets and architecture showing the influence of decades of foreign domination. The Venetian harbour and the higgledy-piggledy streets behind, with their combination of tastefully restored and tumble-down buildings are natural magnets to all Chania's visitors, as are the famous covered market and the 'street of the leatherworkers'. Over the past few decades Chania's architectural attractions and sense of history, in juxtaposition with its backdrop of the powerful Lefka Ora (White Mountains) has encouraged many chance visitors to linger a while longer and consequently the city has a large cosmopolitan and artistic community.
